8 Artists was a unique collaborative exhibition held at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery in 2013. The concept focused on a deeper conversation between artists with and without disability. The artists worked together to explore each others’ visual language to create something new and interesting.
Sisters Jacqui Meyers and Julia Roche [Davies] painted a series of people, places and things on small ceramic tiles to form a large wall installation as can be seen in this gallery showing. The imagery represents a shared history of growing up together as sisters in the country, as well as a current perspective of their lives and interests now.
